- The M4A3 Sherman Flame Tank was a variant of the M4 Sherman, designed to provide close support to infantry units by using its flamethrower to clear out enemy positions. The "F23" tank saw action during the Korean War, where it was used by the US Marine Corps in the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir.
